President Klaus' riding statue...on a snowboard
About a fourth of all 7 members of Liberal Reform Party (LIRA) chaired by Milan Hamerský are preparing to unveil a statue of the president of the Czech Republic, Václav Klaus.
At 12.30 sharp the statue gets finally unveiled.
The one meter high statue depicts the president riding a snowboard with a PET bottle in his hand, both of which Klaus once marked as left-wing symbols.
The whole happening took place with a total lack of interest. Mr Hamerský thanked President Klaus for his 5-year term of office and for "everything he did, particularly for himself and his party and sometimes even for Czech citizens". Zobrazit 7 fotografií
